Update:
One Piece 1049, when will the next chapter of the manga be released? Confirmed date

The Kaido vs Luffy fight comes to an end. After a good number of rounds, surprises and power-ups, both have launched their best attack on the other. It's time to find out if our favorite mugiwara is capable of holding the weight of the country of Wano on his back. In episode 1049 of the One Piece manga, we will find out, already dated in Manga Plus. It will debut next May 15 at 11:00 ET. Until then, we will see the true power of Luffy's Gear 5. Will he be able to take down the pirate who boasts of never being defeated in a one-on-one fight?

As if the cliffhanger of the previous episode was not enough, we anticipate that Eiichiro Oda has planned a break in his annual calendar after this chapter 1049. One Piece regulars will already know that the mangaka always likes to leave us on the edge of our seats before these breaks, so you can expect a spectacular final scene.

Manga Plus, a must-have app for your mobile or tablet

Many manga fans believe that they can only keep up with their favorite series by pirating them every time they are published or waiting months and months until they arrive in their country. Nothing could be further from the truth. Manga Plus is the official application of the publisher Shueisha, responsible for magazines like Weekly Shonen Jump or V-Jump. In other words, it is the company that publishes in Japan the great shonen of the moment: Boruto, Jujutsu Kaisen, My Hero Academia or Dragon Ball Super, to name a few.

Through its official application, Shueisha offers the first three chapters of its manga for free, as well as the last three. On top of that, it does so with a high image quality and translations made and supervised by professionals. Every time a new chapter is published in Japan, the Manga Plus website and app are updated within a few hours. It is therefore the best way to read the adventures of our favorite characters and to support the original authors.
