The Umbrella Academy Season 3 unveils new trailer
Netflix releases a two-minute trailer where we get a glimpse of what the showdown between The Umbrella Academy and The Sparrow Academy will be like.
After two years of waiting, a new trailer for Season 3 of The Umbrella Academy has been released, featuring the Hargreeves families after the disruption in timelines caused last season. Netflix's popular superhero series, based on the comic books of the same name, will return to our screens next June 22, 2022. Lots of action to the beat of Ballroom Blitz.
Considering that season 2 ends on a major cliffhanger, the trailer, and all the commentary of it, has possible spoilers. You can watch the trailer below:
The new 2-minute trailer gives us a glimpse of what the Hargreeves family will face this time after creating a Time Paradox. The beloved members of The Umbrella Academy will have to face their versions of this alternate timeline, the Sparrow Academy, as well as (once again) stop a new apocalypse, which they have little time to stop before it ends up wiping everything on the face of the earth.
The Sparrow Academy is a parallel version of the Umbrella Academy we've met in previous seasons, but with completely different powers, and a Ben who is alive. They are the same number of members, but with powers ranging from throwing red lightning bolts to summoning ravens.
Netflix confirmed Season 3 in November of last year. Now we will have to wait a few more weeks to find out how the Umbrella Academy will save the world once again, without dividing the family.
