Hunter x Hunter is coming back, "Four chapters left”

Yoshihiro Togashi, Hunter x Hunter's mangaka, confirms that he is working again on the series and says that there are 4 chapters left to finish it.

Update:
Hunter x Hunter is coming back, "Four chapters left”

It has been more than three years since Hunter x Hunter disappeared from the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump. In the November 26, 2018 issue, Yoshihiro Togashi, the author of the work, wrote a brief note to the magazine in which he said the following, "Starting next week, I will be taking a break. Once I decide on a resumption date, we will announce it here." Since then, silence, the most painful, deep and deaf silence. Until now.

In recent days, a mysterious Twitter account has been associated with Togashi. A certain message posted on Hunter x Hunter has accumulated more than 115,000 retweets and 270,000 likes. The message reads "For now, four chapters left." Imagine the commotion and commotion when Yusuke Murata, the mangaka behind One Punch-Man, confirmed that the account does indeed belong to Yoshihiro Togashi and alludes to the return of Hunter x Hunter.

Why did Hunter x Hunter stop?

Obviously there is no concrete date for this return and the number of chapters that make it up is unknown, but hope is on the way for the first time in a very long time. Hunter x Hunter is the manga with the longest hiatus in history. The only series that the publisher Shueisha and Weekly Shonen Jump magazine have allowed to make such a hiatus. An exception out of respect for its success and for Yoshihiro Togashi, who had to stop due to serious health problems resulting from stress and pressure.

Togashi has once explained his situation, which was tied to an extreme case of low back pain that prevented him from getting out of bed. The mangaka acknowledged that he had reached a point where, for him, "happiness consists of being able to go to the toilet or sit on a chair". Given his age (56) and such tragic cases as Kentaro Miura and Berserk last year, many were no longer expecting to see him resume his work. However, he always remained intent on it despite the difficulties. "I know there has come a point where either the story ends or I leave this world before it happens. I intend it to be the former."

Hopefully there will be good news soon about his condition and about the return of the Hunter x Hunter manga.
