New State of Play announced for June 2; time and first details
PlayStation will showcase "exciting reveals" about games from third-party companies and some titles in development for the upcoming PlayStation VR2.
PlayStation confirms a new edition of State of Play on June 2 at 3:00 PM PT / 6:00 PM ET. The company confirms that the presentation will feature "about 30 minutes of announcements and updates from the world of PlayStation". Among them are "exciting revelations" from third party partners. We will also learn some details about several games that are in development for the upcoming PlayStation VR2, the virtual reality device for PS5.
For the time being, no specific names have been revealed as to who will participate in the presentation. As is logical, the shadow of Final Fantasy XVI continues to hover over the video game news. Its director assured that during this spring we would know the new trailer; in fact, Naoki Yoshida pointed out that it will be released "soon". The title is already in the final stages of development. On the other hand, PS VR 2 is preparing "more than 20 launch games". Will we see some of them during the presentation? We will soon find out.
