Xbox Game Pass in 2022 and 2023: all games confirmed for the service
We take a look at all the Xbox Game Pass games coming over the upcoming twelve months as confirmed during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase.
One of the big reasons for Microsoft's resurgence is undoubtedly Game Pass. The subscription service remains unrivaled and proved it during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase. The event allowed the Redmond company to announce more than 40 top-tier games coming to Game Pass in 2022 and 2023. From homegrown exclusives such as Starfield to highly anticipated third-party proposals such as Atomic Heart (the Russian BioShock) or Replaced (a cyberpunk wonder).
Let's take a look at the list shared by Microsoft itself, but first, it is worth making two observations. The first one is that these are games that will be released in the next twelve months. That is to say that there are no confirmed names that have no date (as is the case of Hollow Knight: Silksong). It also follows that Starfield could arrive during the first half of 2023 and not during holidays, as planned this year.
On the other hand, all the names that are announced monthly, those of the second half of 2023 and those related to acquisitions such as Blizzard are missing. Presumably, when it closes, and as happened with Bethesda games, titles of the magnitude of Diablo 4 or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will end up coming to Game Pass. It remains to be confirmed.
