The Grapple Glove is a new item coming to Fortnite Season 3 Chapter 3. It's a mobility item that is used just like Spider-Man's Web-Shooters from Season 1. In this section of our guide, we tell you where is the Grapple Glove in Fortnite and how to use them:
Fortnite Season 3: where to find Grapple Glove?
The Grappling Glove was released in Fortnite on 06/14/2022. It is a mobility item that is used just like Spider-Man's Web Shooter from Fortnite Chapter 3 - Season 1. We will find Grappling Gloves inside purple crates at these points on the map:

This is what the purple boxes with Grapple Gloves inside look like. There is an 80% chance of getting one when opening a box.
Since the Grappling Gloves are used in the same way as Spider-Man's web-shooters, everything we told you about them at the time also applies here:
- The Grappling Gloves are an object that allows us to aim and shoot at a point or element of the stage to stick to it and be able to swing to move quickly around the map.
- We can use the Grappling Gloves continuously as long as it has charges left (it uses its own type of ammunition, which is limited) or until we touch the ground. If we touch the ground, the item enters a recovery time of 15 seconds.
- The Grappling Glove has 30 charges in normal modes, and 10 charges in competitive/Arena modes. Each swing expends one charge.
- While using the Grappling Glove, we do not take fall damage.
- The rope can break if an enemy shoots at it, and this will cause us to suffer falling damage.
- The Grappling Glove does not affect players or characters.
- The Grappling Glove is used to hook onto animals.
- We can shoot objects with the Grappling Glove to pull them towards us and pick them up.
The Grappling Hook Glove is a new item in Fortnite Season 3.
