“Squid Game took the world by storm with Director Hwang’s captivating story and iconic imagery. We’re grateful for his support as we turn the fictional world into reality in this massive competition and social experiment,” explains Brandon Riegg, Netflix’s vice president of unscripted and documentary Series. “Fans of the drama series are in for a fascinating and unpredictable journey as our 456 real world contestants navigate the biggest competition series ever, full of tension and twists, with the biggest ever cash prize at the end.”

We know that the series will be developed in 10 episodes in collaboration with Studio Lambert and The Garden; it will be shot in the UK. Do you want to be part of the project? At this link you can opt to participate in one of the three confirmed castings: in the US, UK or globally. In fact, the latter is designed for those who are not in any of the other two territories.

The South Korean hit is still very topical. Beyond the competition transferred to real life, we know that the fictional series will have a second season. A relevant fact: the first one needed only 12 days to be the most popular series in the history of Netflix.
