Overwatch 2: Second beta has a date: streaming event announced
New details about Overwatch 2 and its upcoming beta will be unveiled during the live stream, scheduled for June 16.
Overwatch 2 will follow a free-to-play model. Blizzard Entertainment's game returned to the forefront during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase conference last Sunday, where its release date was confirmed. Before its arrival next October, Blizzard is already preparing a second beta, which will take place on June 28. In addition, they have unveiled a reveal streaming event in which we will learn more details about the test.
Details about registration have yet to be announced, although Blizzard has announced that registration will begin on June 16, the day of the event. While there are still doubts about the game related to its modes, characters and its recently announced free-to-play model, we can expect some of those to be cleared tomorrow.
What time is the Overwatch 2 event on June 16?
The broadcast will be available on the game's official YouTube channel at the following times in the United States:
Overwatch 2 will launch on October 4 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch and PC. It will have cross-play between all platforms.
Another of Blizzard Entertainment's most anticipated titles is Diablo IV, which will debut in stores sometime in 2023, this one at full price.
