INZONE is Sony's new line of accessories for PC gaming

Sony announces INZONE its new line of PC gaming accessories with monitors and headphones that integrate spatial audio and a customization hub.

Update:
INZONE is Sony's new line of accessories for PC gaming

Through a digital presentation to which Meristation had an early access, Sony LATAM presented first-hand INZONE, its new line of accessories, monitors and headphones focused on PC gaming.

Special products for PC Master Race

Being aware that gamers and Esports players have been expanding, the Japanese brand is betting on a line of accessories that aims to focus on an experience that complements video games as an essential part of our lives.

Under the premise that the gaming industry has ceased to be something fun, to become a social community, where players can interact with friends and other people around the world. It is the brand with 70 years in the market that has decided to focus its know-how in audiovisual products that can improve the user experience of the growing PC gaming industry.

"This new sub-brand of the Japanese company seeks to sharpen the visual and auditory senses, to help them make the most of their skills and immerse them fully in the game," said Shuhei Sugihara, Sony's general manager of marketing and communication department.

Monitors that ensure immersion and victory

INZONE M9 and INZONE M3 are the two monitors introduced by the brand to enhance the experience of PC Master Race enthusiasts. The design comes from the hand of Ukyo Takeda, engineer of the product development and image quality department.

Technical specifications

INZONE M9

  • 27" monitor with 4K resolution
  • 144 Hz screen refresh rate
  • Variable refresh rate (VRR)
  • 1ms GTG
  • Full Array Local Dimming
  • HDR 600 Display
  • DCP-P3 95%
  • NVIDIA G-SYNC support

The INZONE M9 has a technology called FALD, which consists of backlit LEDs controlled by individual zones instead of edge-lit LEDs. This is with the purpose of compensating for the delay that these screens tend to have, in order to have a shorter latency time. However, it has managed to have a dynamic contrast of 80,000:1 to be able to reproduce deeper images.

INZONE M3

  • 27" monitor with Full HD resolution
  • 240 Hz screen refresh rate
  • Variable refresh rate (VRR)
  • 1ms GTG
  • 99% sRGB

This monitor is focused on gamers who play more competitively due to its low latency and high refresh rate. It is important to note that the design of both monitors is designed so that gamers can place their keyboards and mice at different angles under the screen, hence the shape of the stand.

Another of the points that have been highlighted during the presentation is that they ensure that these devices have adjustments of last moment in the production lines, all in order to provide the highest possible accuracy in terms of color.

For a better listening

Osamu Nishida, product design manager of the mobile products division was in charge of giving all the details related to the new line of headphones.

The noise cancellation integration of this model is to be able to neutralize the noise that PC cabinets tend to make with their fans.

INZONE H7 wireless headset and INZONE H2 wired gaming headset

For these two models, nylon fabrics have been selected to facilitate breathability and comfort.

The 3 headsets have as their main DNA the integration of 360 spatial sound, a patent that SONY has been working on for several years which helps players of first-person shooter titles. Unlike other devices in this same category, these headphones feature the 360 Spatial Sound Personalizer, which allows it to photograph your ears to get an estimate of your personal hearing profile, a technology similar to that of the WH-1000XM5s.

The availability and price of the product may vary depending on the country, although SONY has confirmed that for the moment the headphones will be the only ones to arrive in Latin American countries this year.
