LEGO The Mighty Bowser is the nearly 3,000-piece figure for $270

Video games continue to conquer the LEGO universe. And Nintendo in particular. After the Princess Peach set and her castle, now the big N has announced the perfect companion. A LEGO of Bowser that will go on sale next October 1, consists of 2,807 pieces and is priced at $269.99.

"Appreciate the king of the Koopas when you build, display and play with LEGO Super Mario The Mighty Bowser," its description begins. "This buildable figure uses new-for-October-2022 LEGO elements to recreate the look of Bowser’s spikes and has many features, including a fireball launcher and a button to control Bowser’s head and neck movements. His arms and fingers move too!"

"Display The Mighty Bowser on the brick-built battle platform, which has 2 towers for him to knock over, a hidden POW Block and an Action Tag. A great gift for any Super Mario fan and fun for all the family, this set includes step-by-step instructions to guide the complex build."

SEGA and PlayStation LEGOS

The Danish firm is not only fishing in Nintendo's waters, but also in those of SEGA and Sony. At the beginning of the year, a spectacular Sonic the Hedgehog set recreating Green Hill Zone, looping included, started to be marketed. It cost $69.99. In the PlayStation family, LEGO launched a Tallneck of more than 1,000 pieces inspired by Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbbiden West in May. In his case, it was $79.99.

The Mighty Bowser thus sets the record for the number of pieces and price of LEGO collections inspired by video games. We have already seen constructions of Mario, Luigi, Peach, an interrogation block and even the Mushroom Kingdom Castle.
