That's what it's called, that's exactly what it offers and as soon as its creator has shared a nice video on social media, it has automatically become a viral phenomenon, as other games starring animals such as Goat Simulator and Untitled Gose Game, among others, did in their day. Developed with the brand new Unreal Engine 5, Squirrel with a Gun bets on the freedom of action in a city and its surroundings, with the usual mechanics of the sandbox genre. We can negotiate with its inhabitants and attend to their orders, but we are also free to take out a gun, threaten them and rob them. Of course, there is no shortage of shootouts between the protagonist squirrel and the police. In addition, there are also elements of exploration and it is necessary to climb buildings; we can even take advantage of the recoil of the gun to propel us and gain height.

Squirrel with a Gun, the title still has no release date, although it is already listed on Steam and you can add it to your wishlist. "Good question" is the only thing that appears in the release date section. In terms of requirements, they're not exactly high, as you barely need 8 GB of RAM, a 2.6 GHz processor, an NVIDIA RTX 2060 graphics card and 10 GB of available storage.

During the last few years, such eccentric simulators have become in style thanks, in part, to the fact that they have become viral phenomena on social media. Goat Simulator is the greatest exponent, as it has become a very popular franchise and will soon offer us its third installment: Goat Simulator 3, which will be present at Gamescom 2022 next week.
