Update:
The dancing continues, Ubisoft announces Just Dance 2023 Edition

Ubisoft's dance game franchise, Just Dance is getting a new installment this year to become the ultimate on-demand dance platform, according to Ubisoft Forward.

This year, Just Dance gets a makeover with "a new art direction, user interface, and optimized recommendation system" with mood playlists and dance moves, according to creative director Matthew Tomkinson. "The game is alive at its heart and will continue to evolve throughout the year with new songs, new game modes, seasons and more," said senior producer Claire Bourgne.

A new way to dance (online)

One of the main new features of Just Dance is that for the first time in the franchise, players will be able to enjoy an online multiplayer experience, allowing you to dance with whoever you want, no matter where you are or what platform you are playing on. This feature will allow you to create private groups of up to six people for dance sessions where you will be able to interact with them through a new system. At the end of each dance, a scoring system will show the best dancer.

Just Dance 2023 Edition will arrive later this year for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox X|S Series. The game will later arrive on Stadia on a date yet to be announced.

What songs are included on Just Dance 2023 Edition?

During the presentation, some of the songs that will be included in the game were revealed:

  • Justin Timberlake - Can’t Stop the feeling!
  • The Just Dancers - If You Wanna Party
  • Clean Bandit Ft. Jess Glynne - Rather Be
