The best games of the year: list of all nominees for The Game Awards 2022
We already have all the games nominated for The Game Awards 2022, the Oscars of the video game industry that recognize the best of the last months.
The Oscars of the video game world, Geoff Keighley's Game Awards, will crown the best of the industry in 2022 next Thursday, December 8. Every year, they will do so during a new awards gala full of announcements, surprises, and recognitions for those who have made us enjoy so much during the last months. Today Keighley himself, once again the master of ceremonies, has announced the list with all the nominees in the different categories.
Led by the three beasts of the year (Horizon Forbidden West, Elden Ring, and God of War Ragnarok), the nominations also repeat many other names that will allow people to discover some of the indie gems of recent months (Sifu, Tunic, Immortality or Neon White) and vindicate works such as Xenoblade 3, Modern Warfare 2 and A Plague Tale Requiem. Not to mention the surprise of the year, Stray, who rises with 6 nominations and even makes room for meows among the contenders for the GOTY (Game of the Year) award.
