Winterfest 2022 event in Fortnite: free outfits and all the gifts

The Winterfest 2022 event started in Fortnite on December 13, 2022. In this Fortnite Season 1 Chapter 4 guide we tell you all about the event, including what's in each gift.
Winterfest 2022 Fortnite event: dates and times
Fortnite's Winterfest 2022 event begins on December 13, 2022, at 9 AM ET and ends on January 3, 2023, at 9 AM ET. While it lasts, in the game there will be Christmas items and the Cozy Lodge returns where we will be able to open a gift each day to get up to 14 free items in gifts and more through other methods. To access the Cozy Lodge, we must go to the snowflake-shaped tab between Play and Battle Pass.
In addition, if we interact with the Yule Log fire, we can get Supercharged XP points that will come in handy for leveling up.

Items returning to Fortnite during Winterfest 2022
For the duration of the Winterfest 2022 event, two classic items return to the normal Fortnite game modes: the Holiday Presents and the Snowball Launchers. The Snowball Launchers replaces the Rocket Launchers during the event.
In addition, Sgt. Winter returns to the island to do his thing. We can find this character going around the island in his truck and throwing Gifts. He is a neutral character who can defend himself if we attack him first.
New Christmas Creative maps during Fortnite's Winterfest 2022
Another new feature of Winterfest 2022 is that many Christmas and winter-themed Creative maps are returning and new ones will be highlighted in Fortnite's Discover tab. All this while the event is still active.
Free Fortnite skin on the Epic Games Store: all the details
Between December 13, 2022, at 9 AM ET and through January 3, 2023, at 9 AM ET, a new free skin (Guff Gringle) will be available on the Epic Games Store as part of Fortnite's Winterfest event.
Free backpack for Fortnite Club members
All Fortnite Club members who log into the game between December 13, 2022, at 9 AM ET and through January 3, 2023, at 9 AM ET will get a new free backpack. Simply log into Fortnite and this new cosmetic item will automatically be added to our Locker.
Christmas and winter outfits return to Fortnite Store
During the Winterfest 2022 event, new Christmas and winter-themed outfits will be arriving at the store along with other iconic ones that will be returning. Keep an eye out each day in case there is one that interests you and you couldn't make it in time on previous occasions.
New free emote for playing with friends in Fortnite's Winterfest 2022
For playing Fortnite with five different people on our friends list anytime between December 13, 2022, at 9 AM ET and January 3, 2023, at 9 AM ET, we will receive a new free gesture.
New Fortnite Winterfest 2022 Quests: all the details
During Fortnite Winterfest 2022 there will be two sets of Quests available: the first part activates on December 13, 2022, at 9 AM ET and ends on December 20 at 9 AM ET, and the second part activates on December 20 at 9 AM ET and ends on January 3, 2023, at 9 AM ET.
