The Last of Us: release date and time of all episodes on HBO Max

The first big hit of the year regarding series is almost here. It is The Last of Us, the video game adaptation of the same name that HBO has commissioned both the creator of the saga, Neil Druckmann, and Craig Mazin, responsible for the award-winning Chernobyl. The series will hit TV screens on January 15, 2023, and according to Casey Bloys, the platform's chief content officer, it will be as talked about as Succesion, White Lotus or Barry, three of the company's spearheads in the Emmy races.

The Last of Us series will take the place of House of the Dragon on HBO Max. That is to say that it will premiere a new episode every Sunday for the next two months and although it is yet to be confirmed, they will surely be available starting at 9:00 pm ET/PT. The first season will consist of nine 50-minute episodes. There will only be one exception, the first episode which will be like a movie and will be 85 minutes long.
