Magic is already flowing around Hogwarts Legacy, the long awaited video game set in the Magical World of Harry Potter. Fans are brimming with hype after learning that you’ll be able to explore the castle and the surrounding grounds in a new adventure, and it seems like this is what’s made the game take the number one spot in Steam’s most wishlisted titles, according to Benji-Sales. The Warner Bros. Games production has also taken the fourth place in the Top Selling games list.

“Hogwarts Legacy is the #1 Most Wishlisted game on Steam, preorders are ranking in the Top 4 Selling games on Steam 5 weeks before launch,” posted Benji-Sales on his Twitter account. He also mentioned that he’s been “hearing VERY strong things about console preorders” as well.

Hogwarts Legacy will go on sale this coming month, but everything seems to indicate that it’s already soaring on the sales lists. In fact, according to data gathered by SteamDB, the Warner Bros. Avalanche game is already one of the most sold titles on the platform at this time. The pre-order numbers have been enough so far to earn it the fourth place of the list:

  1. Steam Deck
  2. Elden Ring
  3. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
  4. Hogwarts Legacy
  5. Cyberpunk 2077
  6. Red Dead Redemption 2
  7. Ready or Not
  8. FIFA 23
  9. God of War
  10. Project Zomboid

Hogwarts Legacy will have a phased launch over every available platform there is right now. The newest generation versions (Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC) will launch this coming February 10. On PS4 and Xbox One, it won’t be out until April 4. Nintendo Switch users are the one that’ll have to wait for much longer, since the studio announced that it won’t be ready until July 25 of 2023.
