As much as some people dislike it, superheroes are still one of the biggest trends in the world and are an enormous hit at the box office. This is why so many actresses and actors wish to become part of it. Such is the case with Pedro Pascal, the famous actor that for a few years now has been behind the mask in The Mandalorian from Star Wars, and who is about to debut it’s starring role in The Last of Us for HBO Max, which adapts the video game series of the same name created by Naughty Dog. In a recent interview with Wired, Pascal himself admitted to wanting to be part of the MCU without hesitation.

Pedro Pascal wants to make the jump to superheroes

When asked about his opinion about the superhero role and Marvels’ position in the industry, Pascal showed no doubt in answering “But I do. I want to be in movies”. He didn’t limit himself, instead deepening his answer with what he believes about the superhero genre and revealing that playing a hero comes with a lot of challenges, and that they are characters with many shades and layers. Of course, as of this moment Pascal is heavily busy with his roles both in The Mandalorian and The Last of Us, alongside any other movies the actor is currently a part of.
