Update:
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is a “massive” game, according to Peter Parker voice actor

As of now, the biggest console exclusive of 2023 for PlayStation 5 is without a doubt Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the long awaited sequel that almost every fan has been anxiously expecting after we saw what was possible on next generation hardware with Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Now, the voice actor that gives life to Peter Parker has given an interview in which he stated, amongst other things, that the game is massive.

“I've still got a little bit to do. It's a massive game so I'm still doing a little bit of work," said Yuri Lowenthal, who has voiced the character since the first game released back in 2018.I know they're confident about their release date and Insomniac has always been good about that. Obviously, I can't really talk about the game much, but I will tell you that it's astonishing.”

“I'm so excited for you to play it. They know they've got big shoes to fill from the last two games and they've done it. I just can't wait for people to play it."

The sequel is in great hands

Let’s remember that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is set to arrive in Fall 2023. However, Insomniac Games hasn’t offered a definitive release date. What we do know is that the main villain, or at least one of them, will be Venom, who will be played by Tony Todd, mainly known by his role in the Candyman franchise.

The development team for this game is basically the exact same one that brought us the previous two titles of the franchise, with Bryan Intihar and Ryan Smith as creative director and game director respectively. In the same way, Nadji Jeter will play Miles Morales again.
