Update:
This is how Ryan Reynolds is training for Deadpool 3: We will see a more muscular Merc with a Mouth

It won’t be until the end of 2024 that we’ll be able to enjoy one of the most anticipated cinematic crossovers in the superhero genre in recent memory. Deadpool 3, now part of the MCU, promises the ultimate showdown between Ryan Reynolds’ Merc with a Mouth and Hugh Jackman’s mythical Wolverine, who will once again wield his adamantium claws for the occasion. And if we already know that Jackman is taking the idea of being Wolverine very seriously, his colleague Ryan Reynolds can’t be left behind. In fact, we can already see the results of the actor’s hard physical training and his strict diet to muscle up like never before to return to action. All this thanks to the pictures published by his trainer and that we offer below.

Deadpool goes all out in the MCU

While Ryan Reynolds has been in phenomenal shape throughout his movie career, it looks like he wants to take his physique to the next level for Deadpool 3. To that end, he has enlisted the help of Don Saladino, an expert in getting Hollywood stars in shape for their movies. The well-known personal trainer has shared several photos of the actor "working out" in the gym and some information about his diet to achieve optimal fitness for the upcoming filming of Deadpool 3.

This was recently picked up by Media Insider after interviewing Ryan Reynolds' trainer, who assured that the actor "puts good lean proteins in his body.” According to Saladino himself, Reynolds follows a diet that is "a bit boring and incredibly clean," with no "cheat meals" and based on protein-rich foods such as oatmeal, salmon, vegetables, and chicken, eating every 3 or 4 hours.

All of this is combined with strength and endurance training, as the actor has to endure endless action-packed shoots, especially with his Deadpool character.
