If you’d like to attend any of the games in the World Baseball Classic ‘23, then you’d better act fast as by all accounts tickets are selling like hot cakes. With that, we’re taking a look at all you need to know about where to buy, and what the best deals are.

What are ticket prices like for the 2023 World Baseball Classic?

As you probably already know, tickets for the World Baseball Classic vary in price depending on the group and which teams are playing. To be clear, you can find tickets on a number of websites, but your best bet is going to be through sites such as ticketmaster.com, seatgeek.com and vividseats.com. To the earlier point of differentiation of prices, you can see this in effect when looking at entry prices for the opening rounds of Group C and D - hosted in Phoenix and Miami - with tickets selling for between $20 and $45.

In comparison, tickets for Dominican Republic vs Puerto Rico at LoanDepot Park in Miami are sold out, while those for Group A games range from $33 to $106. It’s worth mentioning that tickets for all Group A games - the group is hosted in Chinese Taipei - can be bought through tixcraft.com which is the Taiwanese subsidiary of ticketmaster.com. As for the Group B games, which include Japan (another host nation), the tickets can be bought on axs.com, with seven games set to be played at the Tokyo Dome. In truth, there aren’t many tickets left to the games and where the later rounds of the tournament are concerned, it’s almost impossible to find them.

World Baseball Classic ticket sales are incredible

When looking at the history of the tournament, it has to be said that it has shown impressive growth since its inaugural edition back in 2006 which Japan won. Though it was initially set to be held every three years, 2009′s version was actually the last time it was. From that year on, the tournament was held every four years. Most recently, the WBC was cancelled - like many other sporting events - due to the covid-19 pandemic in 2021 - which meant the U.S.A. had to wait to defend the title they won in 2017. As you can imagine, this has created an intense anticipation this time around, which is to say if you don’t want to be left outside, you might want to get your tickets ASAP. Goodluck!
