It’s all on the line for Japan and Mexico as they fight for a spot in the final against Team USA. Both teams have looked very solid so far and it will come down to who can dominate on the mound or in the batter’s box

Japan vs Mexico: Sasaki vs Sandoval

Mexico will face Japan Monday night in semifinals after an exciting quarterfinal matchup against Puerto Rico. In the group stage in which they beat the US, Canada and Great Britain with their only loss came to Colombia in the first game.

Their strong pitching, excellent hitting and tough defense has taken Mexico this far. They’ll be facing a tough rival in Japan, who are undefeated and look to be the favorites tonight. Here’s who we think will lineup tonight against Ohtani and company.
