The 2023 World Baseball Classic is almost upon us, and it promises to be quite a ride. 2023 World Baseball Classic: The Schedule
It’s baseball’s equivalent of the World Cup and it’s back for the first time since 2017. Held every four years, the tournament was of course canceled in 2021 due to the covid-19 pandemic, meaning the Team USA had to wait a while to defend the title they won in the last tournament. As stated before, the action will get started on March 8th, but technically speaking the 2023 WBC opening game will actually take place in Taiwan at 11:00 p.m. ET on March 7th. The curtain comes down with the championship game which is slated for Tuesday, March 21st in Miami.
There are of course a plethora of stars from the MLB who will be on show, including Shohei Ohtani, Juan Soto, Julio Rodríguez, Francisco Lindor, Mike Trout and Trea Turner. On that note, be sure to check in with us if you’d like to get a look at the full rosters of the teams. With that said, it’s time to take a look at the groups, schedules and locations.
