Team Venezuela has traditionally been one of the toughest teams in the competition, but have yet to reach the final game. This year, however, they are determined to break that mold. Featuring perhaps the strongest infield possible, they are going to be a monstrous team to face.

Their strong pitching, excellent hitting and tough defense has taken Venezuela this far. This game will be a clash of titans as two of baseball’s best national teams.

Veteran Miguel Cabrera has homered in each of the four previous World Baseball Classics, and is the only player on the roster to have played in all of them. He is looking to go out the way he lived, and to be honest, we are confident that he will do it.

The biggest cloud over this Venezuela team will be Ronald Acuña Jr. Although he has been cleared by the Braves to play and he is more than willing, his physical state may not hold out, which would see an outfield reshuffle, with either Luis Rengifo or Eduardo Escobar taking reps in that right field spot.
