2023 World Baseball Classic: Who plays today? Times, TV and streaming | March 11
With the eastern pools now in full swing, we are watching the action as it moves through some surprising twists in the World Baseball Classic scores
Both Pools A and B, which are played in the Far East, are now in full swing. Several teams have already played three games and there are some suprises at the top and bottom of the Pool and B standings. It’s no surpise that Japan is on top of Pool B with an undefeated record of 3-0. The Samurai look tough to beat and all eyes are on Shohei Ohtani and his teammates.
Pool B: Japan, Australia, Czech Republic, Korea and China
What is surpising in Pool B is that the boys from down under are also undefeated and are currently in second place after beating Korea and China, who still haven’t won a game yet. Czech Republic is also turning heads as they beat China and played well against Japan in a 10-2 loss.
Pool A: Chinese Taipei, Netherlands, Panama, Cuba and Italy
One of, if not, the toughest group in the 2023 World Baseball Classic. It’s going to be a close race to the finish as Chinese Tapei and the Netherlands are at the top of the group with 2-1 records. Cuba has struggled, which is a surprise to some, while Italy and Panama have both played well.
Who plays today?
Two games have already been played. The Czech Republic held its own against a very strong Japanese squad and lost 10-2. The Netherlands lost their first game today against Chinese Taipei 9-5 and those two teams are now tied at the top of Pool A.

Pools C and D get started today
After a long wait, we finally get to see some of the crowd favorites today. All eyes will be on the Team USA against Great Britain in which the both sides will want to get off to a good start. But, today’s main event is the Dominican Republic against Venezuela, which promises to be a thriller and will measure to of the game’s best squads in Miami.
