2024 Caribbean Series: Venezuela roster and schedule
After a 37-year drought, the Tiburones de la Guaira have won the Venezuelan league, and with it a berth to the 2024 Caribbean Series.
Excitement in the Venezuelan state of La Guaira, as Governor Jose Alejandro Teran declared Monday a holiday after the Tiborones de la Guaira won the Venezuelan league for the first time in 37 years.
One of Venezuela’s original great clubs, the Tiburones, was founded in 1962 when the Licoreros del Pampero were sold and rebranded the Tiburones, and this marks their eighth win in that large trajectory. However, The last time they raised the cup was in 1985.
