Alright baseball fans, get ready because the 2025 MLB All-Star Game is almost here! This year’s showdown is set for Tuesday at Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia and it’s bound to be a blast.

Last year in Texas, the American League won 5-3. The National League, on the other hand, is aiming for revenge in 2025.

Does the All-Star Game still affect the World Series?

Since 2017, the All-Star Game is just for fun and bragging rights. Home-field advantage in the World Series now goes to the team with the best regular-season record, although a large number of fans want to bring back the meaning into this clash.

All-Star games in Atlanta

This isn’t the first time the MLB All-Star Game has been held in Atlanta. The mid-summer classic has been held there twice before, in 200 and 1972.

Who’s Dominated the All-Star Game Over the Years?

The American League holds the edge with 48 wins to the National League’s 44, plus two ties. The AL has been particularly dominant lately, losing only seven times since 1988 and just four times since 1997. They even had a 13-year winning streak from 1997 to 2009!
