Update:

Freddie Freeman won’t be playing for Team Canada in the 2026 WBC. Nevertheless, the team from up north brings a wealth of experience to the competition, with manager Ernie Whitt being the only person to have managed at all six WBCs.

Team Canada find themselves in a tough group, sitting in Pool C with Colombia, Cuba, Panama and Puerto Rico. They will have two warm-up games against the Blue Jays on March 3 at TD Ballpark in Dundedin, Florida and then on March 4 at BayCare Ballpark in Clearwater, Florida against the Phillies, before the competition gets into full swing.
