Update:

Team Israel brings power and experience to the table with a club that has all the gaps plugged. Hitting coach Kevin Youkilis should be able to squeeze the best out of a hard-hitting Harrison Bader and Spencer Horowitz, while a talented pitching staff will face some tough competition in Pool D.

We’ll keep you posted on Israel’s pitching rotation and lineup as the tournament approaches.

With a strong bullpen and a good mix of pitchers, they should be able to give account of themselves, even if they are in the grindingly tough Pool D. Venezuela and Dominican Republic are expected to top this group, but pulling off an upset is not beyond the reach of this Israeli side by any means.
