Update:

Team Panama come into this WBC as one of the strongest and most experienced teams in the competition. While they are perhaps lacking the star power of some of their opponents, everyone on the roster is a solid MLB star or top prospect for the Show.

Along with Nicaragua, Panama has long been the strongest baseballing nation in Central America, and they are looking to stretch their legs in this tournament.

For their two friendly games before the tournament, Panama will start Jorge García against the Yankees on March 3 and Jaime Barría will take the mound against the Tigers on March 4.

  2. Ariel Jurado vs Puerto Rico on March 7
  3. Jorge García? vs Canada on March 8

Possible lineup, although it has not been confirmed:

They have a tough hill to climb out of Pool A, which will see them travel to San Juan for their group games.
