Aaron Judge joins elite club with fifth Silver Slugger award
The seven-time MLB All-Star has won another hitting award, putting him level with some of the most celebrated names in baseball history.
The 2025 Major League Baseball season fell short for the New York Yankees but one of their biggest stars still walked away with major hardware.
On Friday it was confirmed that Aaron Judge has won another American League Silver Slugger Award winner after a monster year at the plate. Now 33 year old, Judge reaffirmed his place among the game’s elite hitters.

Judge helped lead the Yankees’ offense all year and finished the season leading the majors for batting average (.331) slugging percentage (.688), and OPS (1.145). He also crushed 53 home runs, scored 137 runs, and drove in 144 RBIs. He was the offensive anchor for the Yankees, even as the Los Angeles Dodgers went on to win their second straight World Series.
The Yankees were also recognized as the best-hitting team in the American League. Second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr. joined Judge in taking home a Silver Slugger for his breakout performance in 2025.

This marks the fifth Silver Slugger Award of Judge’s career (2017, 2021, 2022, 2024, and 2025), putting him in elite company among Yankees greats. He now joins Dave Winfield (1981–1985), Jorge Posada (2000–2003, 2007), Derek Jeter (2006–2009, 2012) and Robinson Canó (2006, 2010–2013) as the only Yankees to win the honor five times.
Even in a year that ended without another shot at the World Series, Aaron Judge reminded the baseball world that he’s still one of the most complete hitters of his generation.
