Adrián Beltré to be inducted in the MLB Pro Hall of Fame

This week, the MLB announced the class of players that will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2024. One of the standouts was Dominican Adrián Beltré, who was elected almost unanimously. The third baseman was voted with 95.1 percent of the ballots of the members of the Baseball Writers Association of America (BBWAA).
The Dominican player was a five-time Gold Glove winner, four-time All-Star, four-time Silver Slugger and two-time Platinum Glove. Born in Santo Domingo, he racked up 3,166 hits and 477 home runs during his seasons in the Major Leagues.
Beltré became the fifth Dominican to enter Cooperstown. The other four were Juan Marichal (1983), Pedro Martínez (2015), Vladimir Guerrero (2018) and David Ortiz (2022).
