Fan falls into Red Sox bullpen at Citizens Bank Park
The Red Sox-Phillies game was delayed as a fan fell into the visitors bullpen. They were taken to the trauma center at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

The game between the Boston Red Sox and the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park had to be temporarily halted during the first inning due to a fan falling into the visitors’ bullpen.

The fan was taken to the trauma center at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, according to information provided to MLB.com reporter Todd Zolecki. Play resumed after ten minutes, with medical staff placing him on a stretcher and carrying him out of the ball park.
Phillies said the fan who sustained injuries after falling into bullpen in the first inning was transported to Jefferson Hospital for treatment and was conscious and responsive upon leaving the ballpark.

According to NBC Sports Philadelphia, the injury occurred when the fan reached over a railing in an attempt to retrieve a ball thrown his way. At the time of the accident, Masataka Yoshida was facing Zack Wheeler.
