Unsurprisingly, it was the Rangers who finished the 2023 postseason with the most home runs, racking up 30 homers over the course of the playoffs. In total there were 110 home runs scored in the 2023 post-season. This is up from the 93 home runs scored in 2022.

The record for most playoff home runs in a career is held by Manny Ramirez, who racked up 29 homers in 493 plate appearances. Ramirez is a 12-time All-Star with the Cleveland Indians and the Boston Red Sox. The Dominican outfielder narrowly beats off competition from Jose Altuve (27 HRs) and Berne Williams (22 HRs).

The record for the most home runs in a single postseason is held by Randy Arozarena, who smashed an incredible 10 homers across 20 games in the 2020 playoffs. He was named American League Rookie of the Year after that incredible breakthrough season, his first full season after defecting from Cuba.

In terms of World Series home runs, the record of Mickey Mantle may never be beaten. A seven-time MLB champion with the New York Yankees, ‘The Mick’ crushed an astonishing World Series 18 homers in his stellar career, beating the likes of Babe Ruth (15 HRs) and Yogi Bear (12 HRs) to top spot. Mantle also holds the World Series records for runs scored (42) and RBIs (40).
