How much are tickets for game 4 of the 2024 World Series in New York?
The 2024 World Series could be decided at Yankee Stadium this evening. Tickets are still available - although you may have to stand.
After taking Game 3 4-2 on Monday, the Los Angeles Dodgers are now just one win away from being crowned 2024 World Series champions and taking the Commissioner’s Trophy back to the west coast for the eighth time in franchise history.
Television audience figures have been higher than usual for this best-of-seven contest between two of the MLB’s most successful teams - who have racked up a combined total of 63 World Series appearances between them. The first two games of the 2024 World Series drew an average of 29.7 million viewers in the United States and Japan. Game Two alone had 15.9 million viewers in Japan, making it the country’s most-watched MLB postseason game.
But there’s nothing like watching the action first hand from a seat inside the stadium. Attendance for the first three games of the 2024 World Series was high with both Dodger Stadium and Yankee Stadium close to capacity.
Tickets for Game 4 were still available on the morning of the game but could sell out even though Yankee Stadium will be hosting. The visitors could be the ones to clinch the Commissioner’s Trophy later this evening - if the Dodgers win, they will take the series.
Demand for tickets will probably still be high - most Dodgers fans wouldn’t want to miss this moment - especially as the team’s last World Series win was four years ago, and the one before that way back in 1988.
How much do tickets cost for Game 4 at Yankee stadium?
So let’s take a look at how much it will cost to watch Game 4 at Yankee stadium. General admission ticket prices range from $398 to $3,068. The most affordable tickets are those designated for the Pinstripe Pass locations of the stadium which are priced at $398 and a maximum of four can be bought.
Pinstripe Pass tickets are valid for stadium admission and access to non-designated standing room only locations throughout the stadium or at any of the social gathering locations, including the Mastercard Batter’s Eye Deck, FreshDirect Terrace and Toyota Terrace, Budweiser Party Decks, Stella Artois Landing or Michelob ULTRA Clubhouse. However, guests with Pinstripe Pass tickets may not occupy ticketed seats, café seats/assigned SRO locations or portable folding chairs.
Slightly more expensive, but also standing only tickets for Row GA9 come at $409, including all fees. The lowest-priced seat in the grandstand, infield but right at the back (Row 414) is on sale for $417. For obvious reasons, the closer to the diamond, the more expensive the seats become. Terrace seats on Row 8WC are priced at $473 but similar seats may cost as much as $555.
Main Outfield 209 section tickets are listed at $528 while prices for sections 103 and 104 range from $877 to $979. A set in section 125 behind the visitors dugout will set you back somewhere around $1,877. Sitting just behind the dugout will cost anywhere between $5,000-$10,000. And the most expensive seat in the house - $11,153 for a view from Row 3 right by the action in the Legends 22 area.
By early evening, just four percent of tickets were still available but selling fast. The 2024 World Series reaches its expected peak of emotions with Game 4 as the Yankees play for their lives and the Dodgers to become champions. The match is scheduled to begin on Tuesday 29 October with the first pitch at 8:08 p.m. ET (7:08 p.m. CT and 5:08 p.m. PT); 6:08 p.m. in Mexico City.
