It’s the 75th anniversary of the Little League World Series, and the stars of the future are shining this week from Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
History to be made at Williamsport
It’s the first year since before the COVID Pandemic that the International teams are back in the tournament, as we truly return to a World Series event. The field of Little League teams has been bumped up from 16 to 20 this year, which means more players, more games and more home runs and more strikeouts.
The names of stars from years ago still ring through the legendary diamond at Howard J. Lamade Stadium and Volunteer Stadium. With more games to come the records that have been cemented in the history of the Little League World Series could be in jeopardy over the coming days. Here are the individual and team stats from the first 74 years of the LLWS.
