Lourdes Gurriel Jr agrees new deal with the Diamondbacks
The Cuban left fielder commits to stay on with the D-Backs after being available in MLB Free Agency.

The Arizona Diamondbacks and Cuban outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr have reached a three-year agreement in exchange for 42 million dollars, which means the player will remain in Phoenix after being available in MLB Free Agency.

According to the information that has been revealed by those around the D-Backs, the agreement includes an option for a fourth season; in addition to a termination clause after the second year. The Diamondbacks acquired Gurriel Jr and Gabriel Moreno in a trade with the Toronto Blue Jays in December last year.
