Update:

Radamel Falcao’s sporting future remains a mystery. Following his departure from Colombian side Millonarios in early July, El Tigre hasn’t decided where he will continue his career and, at the moment, there is no news about his next destination.

Over the past few weeks as uncertainty grows and new seasons get underway the Colombian striker has taken advantage of his time to visit various teams. He recently visited former clubs AS Monaco and later was honored by Porto and Atlético de Madrid at the Estádio do Dragão during a friendly match.

However, Falcao’s visits aren’t limited to soccer teams. This Tuesday, the forward was invited by the Miami Marlins to LoanDepot Park in Florida ahead of their regular season game against the Atlanta Braves.

“Welcome Falcao to the home of the Miami Marlins,” the United States baseball team posted on their social media channels. El Tigre exchanged the Millonarios jersey he wore in the first half of 2025, with the number 9 on the back.

The Marlins are a hugely popular in Colombia with Édgar Rentería playing with the Miami outfit between 1996 and 1998. As for Falcao’s future, news is expected in the coming weeks regarding the next step in his professional career but it appears that hanging up they boots for the veteran striker is not yet on the cards and the 39-year-is studying the offers on the table for his services.

In the first part of 2025, Falcao played 13 matches (between Liga BetPlay and Copa Sudamericana) and scored 6 goals for Millonarios. On July 2, the Bogotá club confirmed that El Tigre and the club would go their separate ways.
