The MLB still hasn’t chosen the location of the 2025 All-Star Game

On Thursday, the MLB announced the location of three All-Star Games in the next four years.

The Seattle Mariners will be hosting in 2023 at T-Mobile Park, for the third time, while the Texas Rangers will be hosting in 2024 for their second time- and first since 1995- at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX.

While no information on the location of the 2025 All Star Game has been out yet, the Philadelphia Phillies will be getting hosting duties in 2026 at Citizens Bank Park. This will be the Phillies’ fifth time hosting an All-Star Game, as the league celebrates the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

MLB: What happens with the 2025 All-Star Game?

So far, the leading candidates to host the 2025 All-Star Game are reportedly the Toronto Blue Jays, Baltimore Orioles and Atlanta Braves. The Boston Red Sox and Chicago Cubs are thought to also be in the mix, but they have already had four and seven turns, respectively.

If the league decides to keep the All-Star Game in the AL East, the Jays, who have only hosted once, and the Orioles- twice- are both good options.

Not forgetting about the Oakland Athletics back in the bay, who have not hosted since 1987. But it seems more unlikely given that the San Francisco Giants also haven’t hosted for the last 15 years.

We’ll just have to wait and see what the League decides for the mysterious year.
