With 2023 World Series now over, with the Texas Rangers winning the title for the first time in their history, the next awards to be handed out in Major League Baseball are individual ones. The Cy Young Award is given annually to the best pitchers during the MLB regular season, with one each for the American League and National League.

As far as the Senior Circuit goes, the San Diego Padres’ Blake Snell, Zac Gallen of the Arizona Diamondbacks and the San Francisco Giants’ Logan Webb are the men in the conversation.
When are the Cy Young Award winners announced?
The winners of the Cy Young Award for the American and National Leagues will be revealed at 6:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday 15 November on MLB Network.
How are the Cy Young Award winners decided?
The Cy Young Award winners are determined by members of the Baseball Writers’ Association of America. Each voter votes for their top five pitchers in each league across the season, with players given points according to how they are voted. The pitcher who collects the most points wins the award.
Blake Snell chasing second Cy Young Award
Last year’s National League winner was Sandy Alcántara of the Miami Marlins, while the Houston Astros’ Justin Verlander won the American League award for the third time.
Of this year’s nominees, Snell is the only one to have already won the Cy Young Award, doing so in 2018 while playing for the Tampa Bay Rays in the American League.
