San Diego Padres vs Philadelphia Phillies Game 4 of the NLCS: pitchers, lineups, stats, etc.
The Phillies lead the Padres 2-1 with two more games to play at Citizens Bank Park. The winner proceeds to the world series
A pivotal Game 4 between Philadelphia and San Diego goes down Saturday night, with left-hander Bailey Falter starting for the Phillies and right-hander Mike Clevinger for the Padres.
The Phillies, who hadn’t hosted a National League Championship Series game since 2010, have taken a 2-1 lead against the Padres after a crucial 4-2 win Friday night at Citizens Bank Park.
And while throughout three games, the NLCS has come down to the team with the better starting pitching and who delivers the timely hits, Saturday night will be a battle of which pitching staff performs best. The winner of this series will proceed to the World Series to face the winner of the New York Yankees-Houston Astros ALCS.

Padres
San Diego has what seems like the most interesting lineup decision of the postseason. If Philadelphia tries to sneak a trip or two through the order for Falter, the Padres will surely get some right-handed bats toward the top of the order.
