Who is singing the national anthem at the 2025 MLB All-Star Game?

Update:

The biggest stars in the world of baseball will be on show at Atlanta’s Truist Park on July 15 for the 2025 MLB All-Star Game.

The likes of Shohei Ohtani and Aaron Judge will be strutting their stuff next week but they won’t be the only big names in town for the event. The musical performances are also a major part of the annual spectacle and the full list of artists has now been announced.

The headline name for this year’s line-up is Ludacris, the Atlanta native who has been making music for more than 25 years. He has won three Grammy Awards and a Critics’ Choice award and will be a popular addition to this year’s All-Star Game.

The veteran rapper will be joined by Jermaine Dupri, another long-time rapper and a frequent collaborator with Ludacris. In 2001 Dupri and Ludacris joined up to release the track ‘Welcome to Atlanta’.

In a press release announcing the musical acts, the MLB praised Ludacris and Dupri for their “entrepreneurial spirit, chart-topping catalogs and relentless championing of local artists paved the way for Atlanta’s vibrant, genre-blending scene.”

Alongisde those two, the Zac Brown Band and Kane Brown will provide a country music flavor, while singer-songwriter Lauren Spencer Smith will perform the Canadian National Anthem.

The US anthem will be sung by the Zac Brown Band.

“The city of Atlanta and the state of Georgia have been home to many influential recording artists. Major League Baseball is proud to showcase some of the incredible talent from this area as part of the All-Star Game festivities,” explained Noah Garden, MLB’s Deputy Commissioner for Business and Media.

“This celebration blends the passion of baseball with the pride of a region whose soundtrack has made such a profound impact around the world. Fans can tune in and enjoy a blend of country music and hip-hop performances that will help commemorate this year’s Midsummer Classic and honor the rich history of Atlanta.”
