Team USA confirmed lineup and starting pitcher against Italy at the 2026 World Baseball Classic

In the World Baseball Classic, Team USA will face Italy in their last round-robin game after beating Mexico 5-3, Great Britain 9-1 and Brazil 15-5 in Pool B in Houston. The roster is loaded with talent on the mound and in the field.

The team returns to the WBC with strong pitching, excellent hitting and tough defense. They shouldn’t have much trouble in their fourth game against Italy. Coach Mark DeRosa will probably give some of his stars a rest and let some of those with less playing time take the field tonight.
