Luisangel Acuña, the younger brother of Atlanta Braves star Ronald Acuña Jr., had a brilliant game in the New York Mets’ 10-1 victory over the Washington Nationals at Citi Field.

The Venezuelan drove in the Mets' first run with a double, the first extra-base hit of his career; if that were not enough, he hit a solo home run during the eighth inning.

“That confidence comes from my brother,” Luisangel told reporters afterwards.

“I’m very excited to be here, just for the opportunity that God has given me but also for the energy that the fans have given us today,” added the youngest of the Acuña brothers.
