The Yankees’ trade deadline moves: the full lowdown
The New York Yankees were one of Major League Baseball’s most active franchises at the trade deadline.

The New York Yankees were among the most active teams at the trade deadline, with GM Brian Cashman targeting two glaring weaknesses: defense and bullpen depth.
Relievers David Bednar, Camilo Doval and Jake Bird headline the bullpen reinforcements, addressing a unit that ranked second-to-last in MLB ERA last month.
On the defensive side, third baseman Ryan McMahon brings stability to the hot corner, while José Caballero and Amed Rosario add flexibility and depth off the bench for manager Aaron Boone.
