Trump calls for Roger Clemens’ induction into Baseball Hall of Fame

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, said that former Major League Baseball player Roger Clemens should be a member of the Hall of Fame immediately: “Include him NOW.”

The president revealed that he played golf with the former seven-time Cy Young Award-winning pitcher who played for the Boston Red Sox, Toronto Blue Jays, New York Yankees and Houston Astros: “Yesterday I played golf with the great Roger Clemens and his son, Kacy. Roger Clemens was, without a doubt, one of the greatest pitchers of all time, winning 354 games, the Cy Young Award seven times (a record, by far!), and he participated in six World Series, winning two!."

The president insisted that nothing has been proven regarding the allegations of substance use against Clemens.

“He was second only to Nolan Ryan in strikeouts, and he should be in the Baseball Hall of Fame, NOW! People think he took drugs, but nothing has been proven. He never tested positive, and Roger, from the beginning, totally denies it.,” the post read.

After the post, the player thanked the President of the United States for his support. Clemens responded to the post and wrote: “We had a wonderful time yesterday at Trump National DC with President Donald Trump and my son Kacy Clemens. I appreciate the love! DT knows better than anyone the fake news that is circulating. Everyone has their own agendas... I played to change the course of my family’s direction generationally and WIN!”
