What will be the venues for the Caribbean Series 2026?
Venezuela and Puerto Rico reached an agreement to exchange the years of celebration of the Caribbean Series
Venezuela has reached an agreement with Puerto Rico to host the 2026 Caribbean Series, swapping with Puerto Rico’s initially assigned year of 2029.
“A possibility opened up with Puerto Rico, which was the country that was in the series, and we did not hesitate to obtain this prestigious tournament again”, said Antonio José Herrera, a member of the Caribbean Confederation.
The announcement was made at a press conference at the Simón Bolívar Monumental Stadium in Caracas, Venezuela. The president of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP), Giuseppe Palmisano, indicated that he wants to increase the number of participants in the 2026 edition.
2026 Caribbean Series stadiums
It was detailed that the tournament will take place in three stadiums: Forum de La Guaira Stadium, Universitario Stadium and the Monumental Stadium: “Gran Caracas will have other stadiums as venues, It will not be only in the Monumental. In order to comply with formalism, we have placed the three stadiums in the area, which are the Monumental, the Macuto, and the Universitario. But we have not yet decided which will be the definitive headquarters,” revealed Giuseppe Palmisano.
The next venues for the upcoming Caribbean Series will be as follows:
- 2025 | Mexico (Mexicali)
- 2026 | Venezuela
- 2027 | Mexico (Hermosillo)
- 2028 | Dominican Republic
- 2029 | Puerto Rico
