Another Major League Baseball season has come to an end, with the LA Dodgers crowned back-to-back World Series champions. Immediately, thoughts turn to the 2026 upcoming season and as the free agency window opens, all 30 MLB teams are hoping to bolster their rosters with the best players currently without a deal.

Reigning champions LA Dodgers will be looking for a trio of consecutive World Series titles next year are positioned as favorites to retain some of the players whose contracts are expiring and that includes outfielder Kyle Tucker.
The MLB free agency window opens on Thursday, November 6.

The MLB free agency ‘big fish’
Among the most promising players for this Major League Baseball free agency are: Kyle Schwarber, Kyle Tucker, Cody Bellinger, Pete Alonso, Eugenio Suárez, among others.
A Japanese player set to make the move to the Major Leagues are Munetaka Murakami, who is on track to be the new Japanese jewel of the Dodgers, with both the Mets and Yankees also interested in the 22-year-old with the likes of Roki Sasaki and Shohei Ohtani having impressed in their time in MLB.

Other players attracting attention from Japan are Tatsuya Imai and Kazuma Okamoto. The former is a right-handed pitcher who boasts a 1.50 ERA and a 28.8% strikeout rate, establishing himself as one of the best in the NPB league.
Okamoto, for his part, is a standout figure with the Yomiuri Giants, averaging a total of 34 home runs per season since 2018, and is ready to make the jump to the Major Leagues.
