2024 NBA All-Star: Friday’s Rising Stars Game complete rosters
Once again the NBA All-Star Weekend will feature the Rising Stars Challenge, a four-team, tournament-style competition played by the league’s future stars.
For the third straight year, basketball fans will get to see the league’s newest additions playing in an intense mini-tournament as part of the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend. From the likes of Victor Wembanyama and Chet Holmgren, to Paolo Banchero and Scoot Henderson, it’s going to be special.
The Rising Stars rosters & their coaches
With tip-off set for 9:00 p.m. ET on Friday, February 16th, the 2024 Panini Rising Stars is a 3-game mini-tournament among 4 teams comprised of NBA rookies, sophomores, and NBA G League players. A showcase of the league’s young talent and without a doubt worth watching. In case you’re wondering, each team will consist of seven players and are led by four legends of the game: Pau Gasol (Team Pau), Tamika Catchings (Team Tamika), Jalen Rose (Team Jalen) and Detlef Schrempf (Team Detlef).
It’s also worth noting that three of the four teams are comprised of the NBA’s best and brightest rookies and sophomores while the fourth team is made up solely of NBA G League players. When it comes to stars, we’ve already mentioned players such as Paolo Banchero and Rookie of the Year frontrunners Chet Holmgren and Victor Wembanyama, but rest assured there will be performances from many players that we remember long after.
