Team Shannon take the 2024 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game
Micah Parsons leads Team Shannon to victory
The game started out fairly even. Both teams had trouble settling in and finding the hoop but once they did, they managed to put up some decent numbers.
A real back and forth contest saw the lead trade hands five times before Team Shannon slowly pulled out to a lead. First they got their nose out in front, then a little further after the half, and finally putting some breathing space into it as the fourth quarter got underway.
There was some solid play by CJ Stroud on Team Stephen A, and a beautiful display of dunking by Puka Nacua for Team Shannon, but in the end it was dogged as does it, with Micah Parsons grinding and plowing his way to 31 points to lead Team Shannon to a win.
That 100-91 margin was a good reflection of the game that we watched, with one team quietly climbing out in front. Tonight it was Team Shannon's time to shine.
