Aaron Gordon gifts Jamal Murray diamond pendant
The Denver Nuggets’ Aaron Gordon has given teammate Jamal Murray a JM27 diamond pendant as a gift going into the NBA Finals.
Denver Nuggets’ forward Aaron Gordon wanted to show his appreciation for teammate Jamal Murray for his contributions in getting them all the way to the NBA Finals. To say thank you, he gifted him a diamond pendant with his initials, J.M. and his jersey number, 27, inside of a bow and arrow filled with 10-carat white and blue VVS diamonds.
Gordon wanted to make sure that Murray had the gift before the NBA Finals started last Thursday, and he was able to deliver, the Mile High Jewelers making the piece in an expedited 10 days.
The pair made a huge difference in Denver’s Game 1 win over the Miami Heat. Gordon went off for 12 points in the first quarter alone and Murray put up 17 points by the end of the first half. Gordon finished with 16 points and six rebounds, shooting 70% from field goal range while Murray finished with 26 points, six rebounds, and 10 assists.
